Flexi MoU (Flexible Memorandum of Understanding)
A Flexi MoU (Flexible Memorandum of Understanding) is a dynamic agreement between two or more parties that allows modifications based on changing needs. Unlike a traditional MoU, it provides adaptability in terms, scope, and duration, making it suitable for evolving collaborations. It is commonly used in business partnerships, university-industry tie-ups, government initiatives, and research projects. This flexible approach ensures smoother cooperation without the need for frequent renegotiations. By allowing adjustments, it fosters innovation and long-term partnerships. Flexi MoUs are especially beneficial in fast-changing industries where fixed agreements may become restrictive over time.
The Flexi-MoU/CTS, introduced on July 31, 2014, and revised in October 2016, is designed to meet both industry and trainee needs. This scheme, aligned with the Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS) and reformed in 2018, allows for customized industry training, fostering skill development. Under this initiative, MSU and DGT signed an MoU to implement the “Learn and Earn” approach, which integrates theoretical learning with on-the-job training (OJT) for ITI/CTS students. The primary goal is to enhance youth employability and contribute to economic growth. Overall, the scheme adapts training programs to industry demands, ensuring a skilled workforce aligned with market needs.

Minimum 10th pass , 18 years of age

Highlights of the Scheme
Industry can hire any candidate between the age group of 18<40.
Industry can hire any candidate between the qualification of 8th, 12th.
No statutory deduction i.e EPF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity etc. will be applied.
The Duration under Flexi moU-CTS will be 2 years.
- The candidate will get the certificate after completion of the training.
